SaarGummi Tennessee Inc. is a leading manufacturer for sealing systems worldwide. We specialize in automotive, EPDM sealing systems.

Position Details:

3rd shift: 11p-7am with overtime required as needed.

Position Summary:
Responsible for electrical and mechanical servicing and efficient maintenance of production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities and grounds in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures with special focus on injection molding.

Responsibilities:
·Works on Daily Qualifications for Cores that are pulled using the Preventive Maintenance Program
· Manual Lathe Experience
· ERT rings and spacers
· Machine plugs
· Expertise in de-burring Drilling Tapping and milling
· Machined small and large parts to tight tolerances (.001 or less)
· Able to perform Tail Shaft Welding for cores
· Able to fabricate tools, jigs and fixtures to meet manufacturing and engineering needs
· Can operate hand tools, drill presses, Mills, belt sanders, and engine lathe
· Able to assemble and disassemble the cores safely
· Knowledge of the spare parts for core assembly
· Ability to trouble shoot for defect causes (Rubber concentricity issues related to tooling
· Ability to trouble shoot for rubber defects that are tool related
· Performs preventative maintenance on molds tooling as required.
· Minimize the down time to production
· Utilizes precision measurement equipment to verify tooling compliance (Skilled use of dial calipers, Mics, tape measures, depth gauges, Radius gauges, Plug gauges, Ring gauges, ECC bars, indicators, etc)
· Contribute to process optimization during construction.· Strong knowledge of Health and Safety, Environmental, 6S, and Production Information Boards

Qualifications:
· Ability to work in an unsupervised capacity.
· Understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
· Ability to do some type of welding such as mig or stick.
· High degree of attention and care required, preventing injury to self, others and equipment when operating machine tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
